At The Art Garage, we believe every person is an artist, and every person deserves a place to make art. This giving season, you can help keep our studio open and accessible to all.
Between November 1 and December 8, Coloradans join a wave of generosity for the places and missions they love. We hope you will make The Art Garage part of your giving, and use Colorado Gives Day to support causes in Colorado that matter to you!
GivingTuesday falls right in the middle of the Colorado Gives season. A gift on either day, or any day in between, supports The Art Garage and counts towards our Colorado Gives Day goal.
Art access for all
At The Art Garage, we believe art belongs to everyone! Art access means feeling welcome and being met right where you are. It means accepting people, children and adults alike, as unique individuals, whatever their ability. It means bringing quality art education to underserved communities at low or no cost. It means knowing you are already an artist.
We live that mission every day. Each year we reach more than 7,000 people, from toddlers as young as 18 months to adults, including more than 6,300 children. In 2025, 38% of the people we reached took part at no cost to their families, through free community programming, grants, and partners. Our teaching artists bring studio art into Justice High School and 5280 High School, into multilingual elementary classrooms, into public schools throughout Denver, into affordable housing communities, and so much more.
The Art Garage provides over $20,000 in scholarships for underserved communities, as well as free community programming all over the Denver Metro area.
Your gift keeps that work free. It puts quality materials and working artists in front of kids, teens, and adults who are ready to create art.

How to make your gift go further
Give through ColoradoGives.org. Every gift made there from November 1 through December 8 is boosted by a $1M+ Incentive Fund.
Start a monthly gift. Colorado Gives Foundation will match the first $100 of any new monthly gift, until its $250,000 match pool runs out. The earlier you start, the better the chance yours is matched.
Share it. Tag us and use #ColoradoGivesDay so your friends can join the wave too.
