Volunteers are at the heart of The Art Garage. Whether you give one shift a month or get involved every week, your time directly supports our students, artists, and community programs.

We're always seeking volunteers for events, programs, and special projects. Volunteers work alongside our teaching artists, support students of all ages, and help bring The Art Garage's creative spark to events throughout the Denver area.

What Makes a Great Volunteer

  • A passion for art and community work

  • Interest in education or Colorado nonprofits

  • Experience with fine arts, art education, art therapy, special education, or early childhood/adult education

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and able to commit to one shift per month for a minimum of 3 months. A background check is required after the interview.
