About Our Scholarship Program

The Art Garage believes that everyone is an artist and that cost should never be a barrier to artistic experiences. Our scholarship program ensures that our classes, camps, workshops, private lessons, and parties are available to everyone — regardless of income.

We award both partial and full scholarships based on financial need and demonstrated motivation. Applications are reviewed confidentially by our Scholarship Committee, and we work hard to say yes whenever we can.

If a payment plan or other type of financial assistance would help your family, reach out to us at info@artgaragedenver.com. We'll find a way.

What Scholarships Cover

Scholarships are available for every program we offer: classes, camps, workshops, private lessons, and parties.

Each scholarship recipient has an annual allowance of up to $285 for 2026 — about the cost of one half-day summer camp. If you need full-day care or your circumstances call for more, tell us in your application. We do our best to accommodate.

Who Qualifies

Scholarships are available for:

  • Kids and teens in our classes, camps, and after-school programs

  • Adults in our workshops and ongoing classes

  • Families participating in multiple programs

  • Community partners working with underserved populations

We use a need-based approach combined with demonstrated motivation. If cost is a barrier, you qualify to apply. We trust families to tell us what they need.
